Mary is both the owner and a hairstylist here at Lavish Beauty Lounge. Mary had been doing hair in Chapel Hill for ten years before opening her own salon in 2018. After a couple of semesters as a nursing student, Mary discovered that hair was her true passion. Mary enjoys creating lived-in color using balayage, hair painting techniques, and gray blending. She also enjoys doing men's haircuts. She has had extensive continuing education, taking classes with Bumble and bumble, The Left Brain Group, Oribe, Whittemore House,V76, R+Co, and L’Oréal. Mary has also been an educator within the salon. Mary also works with an assistant who is highly trained and she trust so there will more than likely be more than one person working on your hair. She loves to make every client feel special, whether it's their first visit or they have been coming to her years! Mary is also a mother to 2 children and a fur baby. When not in the salon you could find Mary shopping for the latest trends in fashion or makeup.

Erica Davis has been doing hair in Chapel Hill since 2011. She is a native of North Carolina who graduated from both Appalachian State University and the UNC School of Law before attending the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. Erica has a passion for making her clients look like the best versions of themselves. She loves a haircut that settles perfectly into your natural texture, or a balayage that recreates the highlights you had as a child. Her biggest influences are all things French and the fashions of the past. Erica enjoys pixie cuts and flowing long layers! Erica has honed her skills by taking classes through Bumble and bumble, Oribe, R+Co, Whittemore House, and L’Oréal.

Kat has a passion for both hair and makeup. She loves to do all kinds of makeup, whether glam or natural. She enjoys doing makeup for special occasions, such as weddings or proms. Kat also specializing in custom colors. Whether it’s going darker than your current color or lighter and brighter, she is your girl. She has training from assisting Mary as well as the left brain group, behind the chair, & R & Co. Kat enjoys creating special looks curated for each client. When Kat isn’t working you can find her chilling at the lake or hanging out with family.

Amanda is a North Carolina native. She graduated from CCCC with an associates degree in Arts. Amanda’s favorite service is highlights, whether it’s on blondes, brunettes, or darker that’s her forté. Amanda wants you to leave the salon feeling fresh and renewed. Amanda can take your hair from feeling flat and lifeless to lively and dimensional. When not at the salon Amanda enjoys spending time with family and her dogs, Pip and Willow.

Erin is a North Carolina native, born and raised here. Erin graduated from Leon’s Beauty School. Her favorite services include blonding and vivids. Erin’s currently assisting the owner Mary to learn the in’s and out’s of the industry. Erin is also invested in haircare, whether it’s helping heal your hair or maintaining it’s health. When Erin isn’t at the salon she can be found at the gym as she loves fitness. She looks forward to helping you achieve your hair goals!

Chandler is a recent graduate from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. She is currently assisting the owner Mary to further excel her skills and confidence. Chandlers favorite service is anything blonding but also enjoys bringing any color service to life for you. Chandler currently has a love for ALL things hair. Chandler struggled as a child learning how to deal with her own curls which gave her the passion she has today after mastering how to manage her own hair. At the age of 10 she could give herself a smooth blow out. When not in the salon you can find Chandler hanging out with her family playing board games or soaking up the outdoors together. She has 2 cats named Theo and Milo who are the loves of her life.

Mia is your typical girly girl. She enjoys enhancing peoples natural beauty. Mia graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. Mia's favorite services include waxing and vajacials but her absolute favorite is brows! Mia loves brow shaping because she feels she can help your brows evolve as trends change. When Mia isn't in the salon you can probably expect her to be at the gym or going on walks with her boyfriend. She enjoys the outdoors and being active. Mia has a pitbull named Ollie. Ollie is a rescue and loves being outdoors almost as much as Mia does. Mia enjoys a good meal out her favorite is pasta in a la vodka and is always on the search for the best dish! She takes any recommendations at your next appointment.

Sienna graduated from Paul Mitchell of Raleigh and is a North Carolina native. Sienna enjoys ALL things BLONDE. Adding in any dimension is her favorite way to brighten you! Sienna is currently assisting Mary to further her education and skill set. When Sienna isn't in the salon you can find her shopping with her cousins. Before going to hair school Sienna worked on her family farm and in their coffee shop.
